These tension rods are easy to install and very sturdy once placed. I'm using them as a little extra window security by placing the rods in the window track. The black color blends right in. When I do need to remove them to clean or open a window it is relatively easy to do so.

Love how the extend but doesn’t look funny if you keep them at their smallest.

Great tension rod to use under counter to hold spray bottles, used some to create some privacy in back yard, purchased some leather straps and used some to hang pictures! I haven’t used them for anything very heavy so I can’t say how strong they are, but they served my purpose!
